Artist's Description
A bare and broken rocky face. A battered woman will have scars for life, because of the lasting trauma and psychological effects to her body and soul. She is scarred inside and out by the fear of domestic abuse. Red is for fear and blood, Blue is for feelings and bruises.
This is dedicated to my mother that had to live with this suffering.
About Debra Baldwin
I am an artist. I like experimenting with different mediums. I use pen and ink, pencil, watercolors, glass etching & oils. I like photography. Now I use the computer for my digital art. I discovered digital art..I love creating on the computer and I have been known to check my hands to see how messy they were, as digital art is so lifelike. My artist name is Debspoons and I like lots of color in my paintings. I like painting landscapes and animals. I am also an illustrator and a member of a few stock photography sites.
